Hi Joly,

Thank you for the email.

You are right. Since Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Standing Groups (SGs), they are not submitted to the performance evaluation. This performance Evaluation process is only for Chapters.

Hope this answers your question.
Thank you.

Best,
Victor.

Hi Victor,

You wrote:

I am an officer of the Accessibility SG, as well as regular member of some other chapters. I do not see anything.

I have a couple of questions.

1) This is only available to Chapter Officers operating to their own chapter, correct? It doesn't work for regular members?

2) It is my understanding that SG/SIGS do not have the same reporting requirements as Chapters. Are they included in the same evaluation process?

3) Or am I missing something?

Thanks for attention.

Joly

Dear Colleagues,

We hope this finds you all in good health.

We are pleased to inform you that the 2022 end-of-year chapter performance evaluations is now complete. A big thank you for your continuous support of the Internet Society’s vision and mission! You play a big part in the impact we achieve globally.

The final evaluation status as well as the badges are now reflected in the Chapter Portal (AMS). <https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login>

Of our 124 chapters, 102 are marked as "in good standing” following the evaluations. Congratulations for keeping your Chapter in good standing despite the challenges.

97 chapters went beyond the minimum requirements and were able to obtain a badge<https://assets.internetsociety.org/web/4adf07b72aadcc83/2023-chapter-badges/>:
- 76 Chapters reached a Gigabit Badge
- 15 Chapters reached a Megabit Badge
- 6 Chapters reached a Kilobit Badge
You can view and download your chapter’s badge at the following link: https://assets.internetsociety.org/web/4adf07b72aadcc83/2023-chapter-badges/.

Reminder:

You can find your Chapter/SIG results in the Chapter Portal (AMS)<https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login> > "My Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIG)” > "My Chapter Profile” > "Evaluations” tab > "Chapter/SIG Evaluations History", look for the “December 2022" round and click on "View".

If your chapter is marked as "in pre-rejuvenation", this means that it didn't meet at least one of the minimum requirements<https://isoc.box.com/s/l894ol8qsh0apncf2oznjnw7np3mfo89> for a chapter to be considered as "in good standing". Chapters in "pre-rejuvenation" now have three months (i.e. until 01 April 2023) to regain an "in good standing" status (see also the rejuvenation process outlined here<https://www.internetsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ISOC_-Chapter_rejuvenation_process.pdf>).

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Community Engagement Manager or contact the chapter support team at: chapter-support at isoc.org<mailto:chapter-support at isoc.org>.

Thank you.
Best regards,

On behalf of the Chapter Support Team.
