John,
We — well, I — don’t complain from the IETF. As you said - it’s their
issue, which from what we see they are either not willing, or not able to
solve. Or maybe they don’t see it as a problem, as the chapters do. If the
latter, that’s another problem, which perhaps ISOC could address in talking
to the IETF.
And of course that diversity problems are tough to deal with, but the first
step in the search for a solution is… admitting there’s a problem.
Then, who knows, given the fact that the ISOC BoT is reading this list,
perhaps they will convey the observations by chapters to the IETF? After
all, we all form one ISOC.
