[Chapter-delegates] 2021 ISOC Board of Trustees Election Results

Thanks, Luis, and best of luck in your full term!
On the issue of voting, I agree with you that it represents interest
(though, I have to admit that ISOC staff put a lot of efforts to make
sure everyone votes - I got messages and SMS reminders!). The chapters
are (still) underused (or not used enough) partner of ISOC; they are
local, but are part of a global organization. If each of us can do a
little, we will do a lot - together!
What I wonder is (and I have no answer, as I am just a chapter president
and not affiliated with the organizational members, why they voted in
such a small number?
What does it mean?
Lack of interest? They were not reminded? They don't care (I hope that's
not the case!)? Perhaps we can hear from ISOC, or perhaps ISOC should
make an effort and find out, and let us - the chapters - know?
What do others think?
