Apologies for a second note.
Someone misinterpreted what I wrote as calling for Andrew's and Gonzalo's
resignation. I responded

*Bringing in a team for diversity is absolutely not a demand for the two of
you to resign*.

Rather, I've been thinking we should do something like this if Andrew or
Gonzalo don't feel they have the experience in encouraging diversity.

The Harvard Professor Who Offers Leadership Lessons to Corporate America WSJ
Uber Technologies, Riot Games and WeWork all hired her to fix their
cultures. Her job was to improve management, encourage gender equality in
hiring and set up internal training programs.

Although I'd want someone cheaper. I'll ask around for someone suitable and
I hope some of you look as well. It doesn't have to be an African or Asian,
but I can think of some strong candidates.
-----------------
The press is loaded with practical suggestions as many companies are
rethinking their actions. ISOC is especially challenged. Our remit is
global, not just the U.S. The strong majority of Internet users do not have
the same background as those who built ISOC. I believe the same is true of
our membership.

It's hard for any institution to change.
