[Chapter-delegates] Best practices against "Zoombombing" for public Zoom meetings

Dear Chapter and SIG Leaders —
We’ve had reports of some Chapter meetings held over Zoom being interrupted by “Zoombombing” — generally someone sharing inappropriate content over screen-share or just video feed, with the intent to disrupt the meeting.
For now, Zoom’s own default settings allow this (with ISOC’s Pro-level regional licences), unless you specifically take steps to prevent screen-sharing by participants during public meetings - i..e. those meetings advertised publicly and open to our wider communities.
We’ve put together some easy-to-follow steps to adjust screen-sharing <https://isoc.box.com/shared/static/84ji670vu2dt9k8sqi95cguwobg6cisc.pdf> for all public meetings in this downloadable PDF. The document includes the UI changes that Zoom introduced just over 24 hours ago, so please ensure you have updated your Zoom clients prior to following these instructions. Links to Zoom’s own resource pages on these and other items are included at the end of this document.
The Zoom settings changes are simple, but it’s up to the Hosts of these public calls to remember to make these changes before the meetings, and become familiar with the ways to eject any problem participants.
For any internal or closed meetings where all participants are known — no changes are needed.
Thanks —
Lincoln McNey
