Dear Colleagues,

Here a quick addition to the message below that I shared with this list last week:

Please note that only the link sent to you personally (either as individual member and/or in your capacity as Chapter president on behalf of the Chapter) will work for you.

The message below was just a sample of what you should all have received.

Therefore, to update your profile or that of your Chapter (for Chapter presidents), please search for an e-mail with the following subject line in your mailbox:

"How can you be involved in 2020?/Comment pouvez-vous contribuer en 2020?/¿Cómo puedes involucrarte en 2020?”

This e-mail was sent out on 20 August 2019.

Thanks a lot!

Best,

Christine

Dear Colleagues,

The message below was sent to all Chapter Presidents/Chairs as listed in the Chapter Portal (MemberNova) so that they can update your Chapter’s/SIG's profile on behalf of the Chapter/SIG.

It is key for us to know your Chapters’ and SIGs’ interests and areas of expertise in order to work together on our projects going forward.

If your Chapter doesn’t have a President/Chair listed in MemberNova, please reach out to your Regional Community Engagement Manager to discuss this.

(In parallel, the message also went out to all individual members of the Internet Society, who can respond to the survey on their own behalf as Internet Society members)

Best regards,

Christine

Hi Chapter leader,

In March, we asked you to complete a survey as we began to develop our strategic focus for 2020. Thank you for your input! You can view the key conclusions we drew here.

Following your feedback and an intensive planning period, we are excited to let you know that a total of nine projects have been chosen to form the backbone of our work next year. Our selection criteria included:
• whether the project was aligned with the build, promote, and defend goals that met with your favour in our last consultation;
• whether the project addresses some key trends affecting the Internet;
• whether the project addresses opportunities and threats to the Internet;
• whether the Internet Society has the ability to accomplish the project.
While some areas of past work will not continue in 2020, we will complete 2019's Action Plan, and areas of focus that had a multi-year plan. We continue to work steadfastly with our partners and the community to ensure successful transition or closure. The detailed activities for 2020 projects are still being planned.

This is where you can help!

We'd like to know which projects resonate with you, and how you could amplify our impact. Click below to access a questionnaire and share your interests with us. Your responses will be saved on your Member profile and can be updated at any time by logging in.

Please note that if you have not accessed the Member portal in the past, you will have to click 'Forgot Login' to retrieve your login information.

Bonjour,

• si le projet est aligné avec les domaines construire, promouvoir et défendre que vous avez retenu lors de notre dernière consultation;
• si le projet aborde certaines tendances clés affectant l'Internet;
• si le projet tient compte des opportunités et des menaces qui touchent l'Internet;

• Si el proyecto se encuentra alineado con los ejes Construir, Promover y Defender Internet que compartimos con usted en nuestra consulta anterior;
• Si el proyecto aborda algunas tendencias clave que afectan a Internet;
• Si el proyecto aborda oportunidades y amenazas a Internet;
