Dear Chapter leader,

Glad to be in this big network working to be that internet is for everyone.

Haiti is, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiti the Caribbean french-speaking
country in the Caribbean with more than 10 million inhabitants, and the
population is growing more and more and the numbers are not available
annually so the second-most populous country in the Caribbean.

All the population speaks Creole but few of them speak very good French
because of their family origin and if they had the possibility to attend at
least the secondary school.

What really interests me is to see at least our recognized French language
in the different activities of ISOC in the Caribbean region. Because
language challenges can exclude some important stakeholders in Haiti. I
confirmed by conversing with some members of our chapter that many of them
do not speak Spanish or English but understand and speak French well.

for example: forums, schools and regional trainings ....

Inclusion is essential when it comes to advancing in the interest of
everyone, it is a compelling reason for my membership in this large global
family.

We have already discussed these language challenges on the chapter board,
and they all agree.

We must continue to strengthen our network knowing that everyone must be
included in the work and mission of the Internet Society without a language
challenge in the region.

Best Regards,
--
