Hello,
I would also like to support the transition to more privacy and security
conscious use of online tools.
Raising awareness about the importance of privacy protection was a reason
why ISOC Serbia was conducting a cryptoparty workshop at this years Eurodig
in Georgia.
https://eurodigwiki.org/wiki/CryptoParty_2018
We did the same at Seedig http://seedig.net/seedig-2018-cryptoparty/
and of course numerous times locally and at other places.
I am not mentioning this for the sake of advertising, but because at these
links there is basic information about the privacy issue and encryption as
one of the responses to it.
We could continue this discussion either here in relation to Alexander
proposal or maybe on a new thread dedicated to the broader subject of
privacy itself.
Best,
Arandjel
