Dear Colleagues,

Please find below an important announcement from Salam Yamout:
=============

Exciting news!

Today, a coalition of more than 40 companies, Cybersecurity Tech Accord, announced that it has endorsed MANRS, Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security. MANRS is an important global initiative coordinated by the Internet Society to improve the Internet’s security and reliability by protecting its routing infrastructure.

In its announcement, Cybersecurity Tech Accord noted that its signatories “…strongly believe that a more robust and secure global routing infrastructure demands shared responsibility and coordinated actions…” and called MANRS a “fantastic example” of a partnership working toward the common good of a more secure online environment.

MANRS is a community of security-minded organizations committed to making the global routing infrastructure more robust and secure. This endorsement by the Cybersecurity Tech Accord is a major step forward for industry to be proactive in implementing safe routing practices.

MANRS outlines simple yet concrete actions that organizations can take to improve the security and resilience of the Internet. If your organization operates a network, please consider joining MANRS and applying the MANRS actions. To learn more about MANRS and its efforts to reduce threats to the Internet’s routing system, visit https://www.manrs.org/ or email manrs at isoc.org.
