[Chapter-delegates] Proposal to revise ISOC's mission statement

Nothing like a little entomological disagreement to spice up a mailing
list. English has many Nordic words but neither champion nor advocate
are nordic but latin and medieval french in origin.

To champion something carries an association of taking on the mantle for
the mission, cause or entity. It associates ISOC as taking a strongly
committed leadership role for the Internet; whereas advocacy has a more
detached less personally committed nuance such as a lawyer representing
somebody in a court.  Advocacy implies it is hopefully important to the
advocate but champion implies it carries life or death significance.

So my preference to make a strong statement of ISOCs commitment would be
to use champion.
