Chapter delegates,

Like many of you, we have been following the malicious ransomware attacks against unpatched Windows machines since the reports started coming out on Friday. We believe we have a shared responsibility to collaboratively get this under control. We have published or participated in a few pieces of content today:

1. A blog post from our CITO Olaf Kolkman: It's Up To Each Of Us: Why I WannaCry For Collaboration

https://www.internetsociety.org/blog/tech-matters/2017/05/its-each-us-why-i-wannacry-collaboration

For those who do social sharing, we've shared this post out on our social channels at:

2. We participated in a press release with CIGI: Global survey reveals that most people are ill-equipped to deal with ransomware

https://www.cigionline.org/articles/global-survey-reveals-most-people-are-ill-equipped-deal-ransomware

A quote from Kathy appears near the top.

We've shared this out on Twitter, as has Kathy:

https://twitter.com/KathrynCBrown/status/864199693399719936

We plan to have more articles with other viewpoints over the next few days.

If any of you can help share those pieces, we greatly appreciate it. Also, if your chapter publishes any articles of your own (in any language), please do let me know so that we can share those with others.

Thank you,
Dan
