In the new money game law 15.069, according to the will of the Legal
Affairs Committee of the National Council no Internet blocking is to be
provided. However, the organizers of online money games, which are not
approved in Switzerland, are to be warned by the Swiss Federal Gaming
Commission and, if necessary, also prosecuted.

The Commission rejects the blocking of Internet pages from online money
games not authorized in Switzerland. According to the Commission's
intention, the Federal Gaming Commission should still act against
organizers of such money games. Furthermore, the market development of
non-approved online offers is monitored and evaluated. If, five years
after the entry into force of the Act, the Federal Council finds that
further measures are necessary, it is authorized to adopt appropriate
technical measures which, however, are proportionate and respect the
freedom of expression and information. This new article, which replaces
the draft Articles 84 to 90, has been approved by 13 votes to 12. The
minority of the Commission, on the other hand, follows the proposal of the
Federal Council, which has already been approved by the Council of States,
and would like to be able to block offers for unauthorized money games.
