Dear Chapter Leaders,

 

The ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-17) is taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 9-20 October, 2017. As a Sector Member of the ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D), ISOC will be participating. As part of our preparations, we have developed a Draft WTDC-17 Background Paper <https://isoc.box.com/v/WTDC17-background-paper-review>  that is intended to provide an overview of the conference and outline ISOC’s main objectives for the conference. 

 

We invite you to read the draft paper and provide any comments/feedback by Monday, August 7th. 

 

Please note that the paper is intended as an informational paper, particularly for audiences that are less familiar with the conference.
