I have a recording which I am yet to get permission to publish.
I did hear this comment which was (in my understanding) to the effect that
Chapter Delegates list, like practically all lists, is the domain of the
vocal few, while Bob expressed the hope that the CAC, due to its structure
of regional representation, might better present the views of what I might
term the 'silent majority'.
What I did hear elsewhere was 'the people are revolting' rhetoric. which
might be considered a bit of an overstatement based on the actual
proportion of overall Chapter Officers who have made vocal criticisms.
Avri, speaking in a personal capacity, did say that she expected the CAC
Steering Committee will actively look into some of the issues raised by
Dave Burstein, namely a larger earmark for Chapters, and a Chapter say in
how it is allocated, even down to hr.
I'd like to compliment you Gihan, for your firm statements in favor of
inclusion generally, and Raul for stating that he is actively following the
conversations, which he finds valuable.
