[Chapter-delegates] questions to the candidates for the BoT

I fully agree with you on the need to support the discussion on email. I
have twice formulated a question ont he Connect platform and don't see it
recorded so here it is:
Olga, last Monday in a LACRALO conference call you presented the GAC's
views on the IANA Transition. You have been the GAC representative for
Argentina for many years. As you explained, all GAC representatives are
subject to instructions from their governments. In fact as GAC rep you have
had to change positions radically following instructions, and some times
against regional agreements with all other stakeholders. I can provide
specific instances if required. You have been required to align with a
governmental-preeminence position several times, the latest among which is
the Organization of American States (OAS) position on Cybersecurity, which
is governments+firms only.
I understand it is part of the job, but this is not the level of
independence we need in Trustees, and as far as I can see it contradicts
your statement as candidate. Andrei and Mohammed are clearly not bound in
this way.
