<div dir="ltr">Veni,<div><br></div><div>I fully agree with you on the need to support the discussion on email. I have twice formulated a question ont he Connect platform and don't see it recorded so here it is:</div><div><br></div><div>Olga, last Monday in a LACRALO conference call you presented the GAC's views on the IANA Transition. You have been the GAC representative for Argentina for many years. As you explained, all GAC representatives are subject to instructions from their governments. In fact as GAC rep you have had to change positions radically following instructions, and some times against regional agreements with all other stakeholders. I can provide specific instances if required. You have been required to align with a governmental-preeminence position several times, the latest among which is the Organization of American States (OAS) position on Cybersecurity, which is governments+firms only.</div><div><br></div><div>I understand it is part of the job, but this is not the level of independence we need in Trustees, and as far as I can see it contradicts your statement as candidate. Andrei and Mohammed are clearly not bound in this way.</div><div><br></div><div>Yours,</div><div><br></div><div>Alejandro Pisanty</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Apr 6, 2016 at 10:05 AM, Veni Markovski <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:veni@veni.com" target="_blank">veni@veni.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">Thank you, Olga!<div>While it is understandable the desire of ISOC to keep everything on Connect, perhaps we should note that there are chapters, which are in countries with limited connectivity?
