Dear all:

This message is to share with you that I am attending the African Chapters Workshop in Maputo at this moment. The workshop is being great. 27 of 31 African Chapters are represented here. With this one I have attended the regional workshops in all the regions at least once in the last 12 months.

Beirut, Lebanon, Los Angeles, USA, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Budapest, Hungary, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Maputo, Mozambique.

This has been a great personal experience and one of the most gratifying things of my job. Meeting many people from different regions and cultures and having the opportunity of engaging in constructive discussions has been great.
Between the workshops and also other meetings/forums where we usually meet each other, I can say that in the last year i have met leaders from almost (if not all) all the Internet Society Chapters.
Our 110 chapters from all around the world represent all the diversity of the planet. This is one of our biggest challenges, to be relevant as an organization to all these different communities, and it is also one of our biggest assets, the power of all this diversity behind a single vision: The Internet is for everyone.
I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with all of you, let's continue working together for making this a reality.

Best,
 Raúl
