Thanks, Alejandro! In the last year we on the Board have worked hard to simplify our messaging and use less intricate wording that might obfuscate what we are trying to communicate. Bit by bit, IMHO, we are getting better at saying exactly what we mean and saying it in a way that anyone could understand (especially helpful for those who do not speak English or where English is a second language).

The Board worked hard on this particular statement, grounding it in ISOC's longstanding principles, and taking great care to maintain an open dialogue for the future.

Your and others positive comments are helpful – they serve to reinforce that we are on the right track. :-)
