Merci Dany de soulever ce point très important de la concretisation des résultats de l'atelier des Chapitres. 

Nous avions resumé les discussions en mettant quelques priorities basés aussi sur les discussions de l'atelier avec les Chapitres de l'aAsie Pacifique un peu plus tard dans l'année a Bali. Et les priorités communes pour tous les chapitres ayant participes aux ateliers se résumaient a:
	* Demande d'information et de formation sur la levée de fonds pour soutenir le chapitres dans ses activities et projets
	* Demande d'information et de formation sur comment travailler avec et influencer les acteurs principaux (gouvernement ou autres)
	* Plus d'interactions et d'échanges entre chapitres 
	* Plus de soutien pour recruter des membres et des bénévoles
Nous avons voulu addresser ces points bien précis avec des solutions bien précises:
	* Une formation de 4 modules 'Funding your Chapter' (pour l'instant en version anglaise, je vous confirmerai traduction ultérieurement) sera disponible sur Infoum (la plateforme e-learning) à partir de juin
	* Nous aurons une session de 3 heures pendant l'atelier 2014 sur comment influencer des acteurs (politiques ou autres), nous sommes en train d'explorer des possibilités pour partager ce contenu avec tout les chapitres
	* La plate-forme de collaboration 'Connect' sera annoncée la semaine prochaine, cela vous permettra de communiquer, de collaborer plus facilement et plus souvent. Connect nous aidera aussi a communiquer plus souvent et plus efficacement sur les ressources disponibles aux chaptires.
	* Nous avons fait une test de campagne de recrutement de membres avec le Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter et nous allons évaluer les résultats et voir comment on pourrait répliquer cet effort avec d'autres chapitres – plus de nouvelles la seconde moitié de l'année
Tout cela pour confirmer que les résultats des ateliers de chapitres sont très important pour tous, et que nous nous efforçons de focaliser nos activités de soutien au chapitres sur les points soulevés par las chapitres.
Il faut bien entendu un peu de temps pour implementer les projets, mais il est important pour nous de comprendre vos besoins et de les addresser au possible.

Dany, thank you for raising this very important point about the implementation of the discussions at the Chapter workshops .

We identified some priorities based on the workshop discussions (including the Asia Pacific workshop later in the year in Bali) and came up with some overlapping priorities for all chapters that participated:
	* Request for information and training on fundraising to support the chapters in their activities and projects
	* Request for information and training on how to work with and influence key stakeholders (government or other)
	* More interaction and exchange between chapters
	* More support to recruit members and volunteers
We addressed these specific issues with specific solutions :
	* 4 training modules on 'Funding your Chapter' (currently in English ) will be available on Inforum (the e-learning platform) next June
	* We planned a 3 hour training session during the workshop 2014 on how to influence stakeholders (political or other), we are exploring opportunities to share this content with all chapters
	* The collaboration platform 'Connect' will be announced next week, it will allow you to communicate and collaborate more easily and more often between chapters and with your members. Connect will also help us to communicate more often and more effectively about the resources available to chapters .
	* We did a Beta membership recruitment campaign with the Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter and will evaluate the results and see how we could replicate this effort with other chapters - more news the second half of the year
All this to confirm that the results of the Chapter workshops are very important for everyone, and we strive to focus our activities in support of chapters on the points raised by you.
There is of course a bit of time needed to implement the projects, but it is important for us to understand your needs and to address them as much as possible.

Bonjour à tous

Il me souvient que parmi les principaux besoins des chapitres identifiés à Durban lors de l’atelier du 11 juillet 2013, un accompagnement des chapitres pour le développement de capacités sur les questions de management, de communication & Relations Publiques, de levée/gestion de fonds notamment,  a été plébiscité par les représentants des chapitres présents. 

Tout comme Internet Society a activement cet efficacement contribué au développement des capacités techniques sur le continent, il est grand temps de faire pareil sur les questions de management, de réglementation, de gestion des ressources humaines et économiques des chapitres (…)  pour répondre aux défis actuels et futurs.

Si Internet Society propose pleins de ressources pour accompagner les chapitres, notamment le « Chapter Handbook & Toolkits », force est de constater que nous sommes très peu finalement à les connaître et logiquement  très peu à pouvoir les valoriser et les partager de façon efficience au sein de nos communautés respectives. 

En vue de l'Atelier de Dakar et des ateliers similaires, ce serait bien qu’on puisse revenir à chaque occasion sur le package de ressources et outils à disposition des chapitres, en attendant des ateliers de formation spécifiques surement en préparation.

I remember that one of the main needs identified chapters in Durban at the workshop on July 13, support chapters for capacity building on issues of management, communication & Public Relations, raising/fund management in particular, was praised by Chapter representatives.

As ISOC has actively contributed to the development of technical capacity on the continent, it’s time to do the same for the management, regulation, management of human and economic resources of chapters (...) to meet current and future challenges.

If Internet Society offers full resources package to accompany the chapters, like "Chapter Handbook & Toolkits", it’s clear that we are finally very few to know and logically very little to be able to develop and share so efficiency within our respective communities.
