[Chapter-delegates] 2014 Internet Society Board of Trustees Elections

Dear Desiree,

it is not clear in what capacity this message arrives: your personal
capacity, a message from the Board of Trustees, or from the Election
Committee. In any of the three cases, the following applies:

if the voting has started there is no room for further extension of a
process that you now find insufficient. The time to fix it was earlier;
those interested in "dialogue and participation" should have encouraged it
in the previous months. This call is a sever breakdown in process for any
conceivable set of election rules. Among other implications, those who have
already voted are in an unequitative basis; but that is the least.

I urge you to call on a close on all debate and campaigning activities that
would be implied by your call; to freeze the candidates forum section of
the ISOC website; and to analyze, after the election, the reasons that may
have made participation in this election insatisfactory.

Yours,

Alejandro Pisanty
