Hi,
+1 from here and a brief statement: ISOC is the only member of the
Coordination Group that is not simultaneously a directly interested party,
a "client" of IANA or a structural participant in ICANN. It is therefore
incumbent on ISOC¿s representation to go beyond the potentially zero-sum
game of push and pull among the "clients" and to make a sense of global
stewardship prevail. The representatives of other groupings may also have
this sense of stewardship, of looking for the broader, long-term common
good, but they are set up first and foremost to look after their own needs
and views. I am sure Narelle and Demi will carry this flag.
