[Chapter-delegates] EU consultation on copyright

Dear All

As you know it, the European Commission has decided to widely consult stakeholders with a view to engage in an deep review of the copyright legislation in Europe. 
We have already engaged many EU policymakers here and believe that any plans in this area will have a huge impact on the Internet. Hence our willingness to provide the European Commission with ISOC angles on the Internet aspects of this consultation.
I wanted to share our submission with you at this stage as the deadline for submission is March 5. I apologize for the short notice but would appreciate it if you could share your overall comments on this text by Friday 28 February.
