Gihan.  You are correct.  Term limits are applicable only to the officers.

I would note that one principle in drafting the Charter has been to NOT mandate to Chapters how they choose delegates, including term limits and now Alejandro's proposal for functional diversity. An important theme over the years has been the need to respect the differing cultures and laws under which Chapters operate.  The Charter as proposed is in that spirit.

My experience over many years as a community organizer is that people who have a shared vision - in that case the Society's internet goals - can agree to promote goods like diversity, creating new leadership, etc., by creating a shared culture (which can be written down) rather than needing to have a mandate imposed on them.
