[Chapter-delegates] Board Election

Vint - I don't know.
However not knowing any candidates means taking on trust recommendations
from those who do and that may limit the pool of an informed and engaged
electorate.
There is also a bit of a concern this time around to find candidates who
have substantial "chapter" experience - preferably a founder or
certainly an experienced leader.
Although trustees represent all parts of ISOC there is a key priority to
transform the roll of chapters in ISOC. The board needs to have that
maturity of experience of chapters in their midst.
If that doesn't happen in next eighteen to twenty four months then I
worry that ISOC will be seen as promoting a local view globally rather
than as a distributed community around the world that just happens to
have a US registration and HQ.
