I find the email worrying too. Is ISOC really cash-strapped to be
crowdsourcing $20k from its members and beyond( see
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/don-t-let-spam-restrain-socio-economic-development)?
Could it be the ISOC membership database has been compromised? What else
has been compromised besides the DB if indeed the DB has been compromised?
Should members be worried their Personal Identifiable Information(PII)
might be out there somewhere in the hands of the wrong people or this is
really a credible project from ISOC?
