[Chapter-delegates] Our thoughts are with the Philippines Chapter

Thank you Narelle and all for your concern. "Haiyan" (locally "Yolanda")
passed to the south of Metro Manila, thus most of the devastation is in the
Philippines' central ("Visayas") region. I've already been in touch with some
people in that region and they are thankfully fine. However, there was much
more damage and loss of life in the hardest hit areas.
At least one ISOC member (some of you may have met Bayani "Bani" Lara at the
25th) has been involved in preparing support for the restoration of
communications facilities in the worst-hit areas.
