I'd like to echo Alejandro's remarks here as it is really important that
we continue to grow and especially to foster chapters across the globe
that work well in the specific cultural mix of each country/region.
In our case, one chapter has been working well across our nation, but I
can conceive of a possibility where more might be better! [I wonder, too,
how big the Canadian family will eventually grow?]
I commend all the work that has gone on between the staff and chapter
community to create what I'm sure will be a really vibrant Canadian
chapter, supported really well by the Quebec chapter, and their other
chapter neighbours further south. I look forward also to working with them
tackling common issues in lobbying 'Federally' for Internet issues! Not to
mention Pacific ones with PICISOC, too! :-)
All the best
