Dear Sabrina,

thanks for the good news that the Internet Society Canada Chapter has been recognized by ISOC.

It is very important to document rigorously and as much as possible publicly how the approval was reached. The precedent this approval creates is particularly important for the history of ISOC, for the coexistence and cooperation of chapters in culturally diverse countries, and for the history - hopefully - of ISOC recognizing the history of the struggles chapters go through in their creation, evolution, and sheer hard work. 

Let's all make sure that the right incentives emerge from the discussions about this chapter from the latest few months.

That said let me also join the congratulations and welcome to all the good people that made this possible.
