In continuation of what Mr. Ammar said, Cyber Security Task Force of
Pakistan was formed by Senate committee on defense where Pakistan
Information Security Assocition is leading it. This task force is working
on cyber security strategy & policy of Pakistan as well as forming PK-CERT
- National CERT of Pakistan. This task force has representation from civil
society, academia, defense, private sector etc. In absense of National
CERT, PISA-CERT is participating in some of the international initiative
i.e. OIC CERT, APCERT etc.

To create awareness about cyber security challanges / issue, we are holding
seminars, workshops, conferences etc in major parts of country i.e.
Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar. Annual CyberSecurePakistan
international conference is one example where we invite cyber security
experts from different corners of world. The foundation of Cyber Security
Task Force of Pakistan was also laid in CyberSecurePakistan 2013 Conference
when government reconized role of PISA. Next conference is scheduled on
January 10 - 11, 2014 with theme of *Multistakeholder Cooperation to Combat
Cyber Crimes*.

Now after doing some effort locally, we have presence of ISOC, ISACA, ISC2
etc and we can always have opinion from experts.

PS: I am representing ISOC Pakistan Islamabad Chapter in Cyber Security
Task Force of Pakistan.

Best,

Talha

Thank you,
