Dear Sally,
I understand that you would participate in the India Internet Governance
Conference to be held during Oct 4-5 at New Delhi as a multi-stakeholder
event. I learn that there is a likelihood of you moderating the session on
"International Telecom Regulations and Internet Governance".

I am given to understand that ISOC is playing a supportive role, yet
believe that you would be doing everything possible to bring in diverse
perspectives on WCIT issues.
It is important that this opportunity turns out to be one that would
present diverse views on the the dangers of the ITU's aspirations so as to
cause the important stakeholders in India to unlearn the erroneous ideas
imparted by wrong advise.
Could this take shape as a session that include one or two panelists who
explain how the neutral Internet Governance institutions work at present?
In one of the IGF workshops we have had panelists from IETF who wonderfully
explained how the IETF process differs from the ITU process; The audience
also need to understand the receptive and open multi-stakeholder process of
ICANN as a contrast to the closed processes of the ITU.
