Geneva on 9 October 2012 with remote participation also to be provided.

Subject: Invitation – WCIT Briefing Session for Civil Society Stakeholders
Sir / Madam,
I am pleased to inform you that in a special Briefing Session for members
of the Civil Society will be held on 9 October 2012 from 15h00 to 16h30 at
ITU Headquarters, Room K, Montbrillant Building, Geneva.
The objective of this session is to brief members of the Civil Society on
WCIT. The session will provide an overview of the conference, the
preparatory process, and some of the main principles and issues being
discussed. The briefing will be followed by an interactive Q & A Session.
Please note that the meeting will be conducted in  English. Owing to room
capacity constraints, announced participants are requested to arrive early
for the event. Access to the meeting room will be provided on a
first-come-first-served basis. Remote participation is available on
request.
