[Chapter-delegates] Chapter participation in the final compilation of the Revised By-Laws

Dear Chapter Delegates,
 
The By-Laws committee is near the end of its charge, having solicited comments, revised the proposed changes and continued to gather input.  At this time the Committee is interested in having two members from the chapter community participate in the final deliberations and communications prior to presentation to the full Board of Trustees and a subsequent vote by the BoT.
 
Following requests from the Chapter and membership communities, the BoT wishes to conclude the by-laws review quickly.  Trustees have followed with great interest  the various rounds of comments from the ISOC communities and want to ensure that organisation members and chapters have representatives in the final preparations of the recommendations.  We are interested in nominations and volunteers, from which the committee will select two individuals for participation. 

As all parties are now expressing interest in a swift conclusion to this process, we are asking for a fast turn-around in seeking nominations and volunteers. With your nominations, please also provide a brief explanation of what the By-laws Committee should consider in choosing the two representatives (for example, experience with by-laws in other organisations). Please send your nominations directly to the By-laws Committee by 26 October and the Committee will inform the selected nominees and then the Chapter community.
