Dear Members,

Each year, we reach out to our members seeking their views on the issues
to be discussed at the upcoming IGF. The input we receive from our
members from all across the world forms a critical part of our
engagement in IGF discussions.

To this end, the Internet Society is conducting a consultation on
Internet Governance (IG). The objective of this survey is to assist ISOC
in addressing Internet governance issues in the discussion up to, and
beyond, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) meeting in Baku in November
2012.

We invite you to complete the survey by 25 October and thank you in
advance for taking the time to provide us with information about your
experiences and your analysis of the state of the Internet governance
debate: http://www.internetsociety.org/igf-2012 A summary of the results
of the consultation will be made available on-line.

In addition, a rough guide to ISOC at IGF 2012 is now available on our
website. It provides an overview of our activities ahead of the
conference as well as on site: http://www.internetsociety.org/igf-2012

We look forward to discussing with you ISOC's preparations for the IGF
at next week's conference calls (9 October):
