As ISOC members we absolutely should! You cant ignore the crazy guy in your office who wants his red stapler because one day he will burn down the building. ITU has many governments more and more interested because they promote what happened with Stuxnet. History has proven that instilling fear is a great way to mobilize people. We also should care because the underlying infrastructure is telecommunication, signaling and ITU has its hand everywhere.

ITU wants to change the peering landscape. I hope you are doing your part in informing the Finnish government why the current IXP model should not break. Point them to the IXP situation in India, that is what will happen if you let ITU have its way.
