Dear all

This is very sad for the Internet community of Pakistan. I shared the same
(Table 11) with Fouad Bajw at the Geneva INET meeting. I strongly condemn
the action on denying the citizens of Pakistan their rights use the
Tweeter. This is an infringement of freedom and goes against our mission of
free internet for all. If the action is not addressed, other countries may
also follow suite on the same or other socio media tools. There are intent
to monitor and control posts on Facebook by some countries, which has
become very popular especially with the young people who use it to pass and
share important information (quicker) that otherwise would reach them
through the normal communication media channels and houses. This is
happening especially in countries still struggling with governance and
democratic processes.

I think ISOC needs to address this matter, before it escalates.
