[Chapter-delegates] ISOC's policies - sensitive email

by the way, to make sure there's no misunderstanding (and I kind of see one
in Fred's email):
this is not a conversation about the people at ISOC, or the people at the
chapters - that's not the point.
The point is, what can we all do to make sure that the achievements and the
policies, introduced by some of us in the 90s of the 20th century, continue
to spread around as governments change their attitude towards the Internet.
Let's try not to turn this particular mail chain into an "ad hominem"
issue, and let's focus on the substance, rather than the form. Many of us
on this list are coming from countries, which are not "western".
Cross-cultural issues exist, and therefore I am ready to help anyone, who
feels uncomfortable speaking out, so please - approach me, when you want,
and I will do my best to help. I am sure that some of the older ISOC
members will join me - so instead of me volunteering them, I hope they will
email the list.

Good night, everyone!
