[Chapter-delegates] Contract Position Available

Dear All,

The job description seems to be shadowy for me. This is no different from
"perform other tasks as maybe required by the manager".

If I am going to apply for this, just for the purpose of the discussion, I
would like to know the primary responsibility and what ownership do I have
to apply and accept the position. That will spur on the contractor's
independence, though, s/he will still have to report to the assigned
supervisor. Overlapping of tasks for me is a waste of time, money and
resources of the company and the energy of those people helping and
carrying out tasks.

The listed duties could be just the dependencies of the primary
responsibility. That way it would be easier to measure the deliverables and
your expectations to the contractor. I could then easily delineate what a
competency (e.g. evidence of efficacy, having been carried out duties
successfully with flying colors in previous assignment/company) is from
qualification (e.g. IT graduate definitely have already developed a strong
background how to run or manage systems considering s/he was trained (in a
reputable school) however will still have to learn some dependencies as the
requirement of the work i.e. dealing with suppliers, budgeting, et al).
