thanks for this comment and pointer.

I was able to watch most of the hearing in the webcast while working at my 
desk and would like to underline one of Vint Cerf's participations, in 
which he emphasizes the global angle and impact of messing with the 
Internet. We in ISOC should always be on the forefront of this 
perspective, no matter how local the events we attend are.

Sally's peformance was indeed stellar and we should continue to support 
her in all ways possible.

And, one should watch the whole thing also to understand the minefield 
that ISOC steps into when we have to work in the political environments of 
the US, the EU, UN, ITU, etc. - simultaneously. We seem to "get it" a lot 
better than some of the speakers yesterday in the US Senate.
