[Chapter-delegates] A final farewell ....

To: Chapter Delegates

While we have said our good-bye's and sent notes of appreciation to Anne, it occurred to me that many of these had not made their way to the Chapter Delegates list, and we would like you all to know how much we also appreciated and will miss Anne.  She and her team were central to our collective efforts to further empower and support chapters - to advance our mission.   Anne, you will be missed.  

I would like to thank Anne, the Chapter Support Team and all of you for all you do for the Internet and for ISOC's mission.  It is much appreciated.

Anne,

It is with mixed emotion we prepare to bid you au revoir.  

We are sad to see you leave as you have been a strong positive force within the Chapter community and within staff.  The notes sent recently by Chapter members are proof of the difference you have made, the progress you have helped to bring about, and the high degree of respect they have for you.   A true testament to "authentic engagement".   You have shown enormous dedication in your work and commitment to the organization's mission. It was always noted and much appreciated.

I recall when you first joined ISOC, in the relatively early days, and we were pleased to have someone who knew the community and our values so well. It was truly a good fit.  Those of us who have had the pleasure of working with you will greatly miss you as a colleague; you have left behind some truly big shoes to fill.

We wish you a gratifying and refreshing year, and wish you all the best as you work to realize your personal goals.

I hope you will stay in touch, and from time to time share your adventure with all of us at ISOC .  And, should you need anything from me or the organization, do not hesitate to reach out.
