[Chapter-delegates] Has ISOC signed the Declaration of Internet Freedom?

I respectfully disagree with David here in the propriety of his effort to
try and shame ISOC into signing the declaration by citing peer pressure.
One of the reasons I am proud to associate with the Internet Society, and
what I believe is why it is respected and the influential organization it
is, is its steady adherence to its basic principles, and its refusal be
blown this way and that by every activist polemic that comes along. It
recognizes the complexities and realities of the job in hand, at a global
level.
The Internet Declaration is by no means at odds with ISOC's mission. In
fact, so much so that it practically goes without saying. I am happy to
know that those in our policy team will carefully evaluate the merits or
otherwise of adopting such a platform as they engage in the current tricky
high level engagements. It's very possible that by letting it gain
independent momentum we will empower our position more.
What also surprises me is that David has not lobbied the NY Chapter, a much
more likely candidate, to itself become an organizational signatory. Surely
that would appease the our cyberlibertarian friends?
