thanks for showing a sign of life.

I hope that through you or directly, both Staff and Board of ISOC understand the depth of the concerns expressed, with increasing clarity over the days, by an increasing group of deeply committed volunteers who wish to see the best of ISOC play out again.

As has been said, the discussion - and the absence in it of ISOC's core decision makers - goes far beyond the practical and monetary arrangements for the INET event. It has become a debate - a test - of what ISOC really is, does, and wants to project to the world. And how it decides all that, with whom, with what priorities.

A test, in other words.
