Dear Norbert,
Thank you for your message and your offer to help. As you may know, we do have several vacancies in the Chapter-Support team and priority is currently given to the Director of Chapters vacancy. However, we do hope to have the other two positions within our team filled as soon as possible. Job interviews will take place in the near future.
Best regards,
Christine

> As several of you had commented kindly on-list and off-list, I think it is appropriate to let you know what I know so for.
> In response to my offer, I received an auto-response, saying “We wish we could respond personally to every applicant who expresses an interest in one of our open positions, however that is not feasible.”
> Though I cannot imagine that there was a crowd of applicants who were immediately available, I have to accept that it is not feasible to get a response from ISOC “jobs.” But I would be happy to know if anybody has information how ISOC Central has dealt with this need for which the announcement was seeking an “immediate” solution.
> As my text had said clearly, I was not desperately applying for a job, but I made an offer to assist. As a person still responsible, until next month, for the leadership in a small chapter in a difficult environment, we are interested that this Chapter Development Position-Asia Pacific will be functioning soon, as we hope that it can provide assistance and advocacy in face of the obstacles to our development which we face.
