ISOC HK will be posting HD video to their YouTube channel, which is
http://www.youtube.com/user/ISOCHK - email subscription is recommended!

It was an interesting and informative session. Two things in particular I
gleaned from Fred:

1) although he qualified by saying he was constrained by NDA's from going
into detail, was that one major US ISP has already achieved 70% IPv6
implementation with its users

2) asked about address portability another thing he talked about on the
panel was Network Prefix Translation (NPTv6), mentioning that its approval
by the IETF was not welcomed by everybody. I see more info on
http://www.fastlaneus.com/blog/2011/08/28/from-nat66-to-ipv6-to-ipv6-network-prefix-translation-nptv6/

Prof. Chiu revealed that a forthcoming academic paper will assert that
IPv6, despite its limited deployment, is already practically as fast as
IPv4. I was surprised nobody responded by pointing out that, as Carrier
Grade NAT (CGN) is implemented IPv4 is going to slow down considerably.

Thanks to ISOC HK for another great event!
