Hi Veni,

What we saw at the UN CSTD meeting in on December 14 was the United States,
Europe and England, among others, standing up for the multi-stakeholder
system - in the face of India, Brazil, South Africa, and others.

Larry Strickling reiterated USA support at INET New York.

So while there is some support for the ITU or similar model, it's got pretty
strong opposition, too.

Meanwhile the ITU iteslef is having to face up to reality -

Not to say we shouldn't be vigilant and forthright on the topic.
