Thanks Victor for the site address.
I had a look at this site a while ago and it seems very interesting
and they continue to expand the incubator network across the
developing world, including Africa.
The main focus of the existing World Bank strategy has been on sector
reform and facilitating private sector investment (particularly where
they claim attribution to some of the growth of the mobile sector).
Their new strategy is based on the principal that there exists a
strong causal link between IT investment, if well executed, and
productivity growth. Forming new PPP for investment is a central
theme as well as the use of ICT as a transformational enabler. This
creates opportunities for ICT business as well as ICT Enterprise
services e.g call centres, local content development, Facebook
Africa.....
Maybe we can develop a proposal?
