[Chapter-delegates] .org domain seized by U.S. Department of Justice

Hi,

What happened, if the registrar (Go Daddy) did nothing (negating in the 
equation the participation of .ORG operator), the USG DOJ just cut-off the 
domain? Where, in the very root?

This is the single best piece of advertising for alternate root server
systems that I've ever seen. Rojadirecta is one of the most popular web
services in Italy, even among non-technical people, which are now
realizing how the global DNS works and concluding that .org names are
not safe any more. By the way, Rojadirecta is perfectly legal, unless
the US get to decide what is legal and what is not for the entire Internet.
I would be curious to hear the position of ISOC on this matter, also
given that a .org domain name was involved.
