But **.chapters.isoc.org exists already and every chapter may demand it.
What it has been discussed is to enable local chapters to register the
domain name of their choice at the ccTLD level.
ISOC HQ is providing already support on marketing tools ( pens, ... )
for the chapters.

I agree with you Patrick on this problem.
We have been as well seen as a commercial entity as the word "Society"
in a French speaking country in more to design a commercial entity.
But I think this is probably the problem of any brand. NIKE in Tunisia
has a bad meaning but everyone know this brand and like it. So it is a
matter how you keep your name at high level of communication.
