Hi everyone
we just had a great webex/telecon on the upcoming World IPv6 Day. I
hope others of you can make it. We had participants from Hong Kong,
Spain, Romania, Australia... (sorry I didn't take "official" notes
this time).
Phil Roberts gave a really good run down of the overall aim and
expected activities, and his presentation is available (if you
participate, you'll know where!) We did hear some really interesting
plans from one of the chapters, and I hope they can share it with us
all.
On that note, can other chapters please keep us all up to date on what
you are planning, and how you are going with this activity?
If necessary we can have a separate non publicly archivable mailing
list set up if people need to keep their plans private.
Please tell us, though, we are really keen to hear of your progress,
or lack of progress. Please don't be shy or ashamed, as all the
reasons why and why not are helpful to us all.
I'd love to co-ordinate some hand overs, say 10am Au time start (or
Fiji?? NZ?? at 11am) then hour after hour move to the next time zone
and say 'Hi' over IPv6.
Anyway, enough ideas for now.
PS the meeting info is at: http://isoc.org/wp/chapter-meetings/?p=1113
Best regards
Narelle
