One thing I like about this story is the way it draws attention to the FCC
decision to entirely disregard the Berkman report - which points out how
mandatory line-sharing has led to cheaper and faster service in other
countries.

I asked about this at the National Broadband Plan review at New York Law
School earlier in the year, and was told it was flatly rebuffed on the
