Dear Colleagues,
The first Internet Society International Chapter Toolkit is now
available. This toolkit, "Tools for Mobilizing Volunteers" was written
with your help and contains advice and tips shared from the
experiences of Chapter members and leaders in working with volunteers.
It is in the process of being translated into French and Spanish and
will be available soon. The English version is available at: http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/guidelines/docs/volunteer-toolkit.pdf
and linked off the resources page at: http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/guidelines/
.
Additional toolkits to be released by the end of the year include:
* "Tools for Unraveling the Net Neutrality / Open Internetworking
Debate" and
* "Tools for Educating and Influencing Public Policy"
As posted to this list yesterday, Wendy Rickard, who is writing the
toolkits for us, is still keen to hear from you if you have
experiences, tips, advice and lessons learnt to share with your fellow
Chapter leaders. All input is gratefully received and is really what
brings these publications alive.
Thank you to everyone who sent in contributions and to Wendy for her
work in putting it all together.
We look forward to "sharing your success".
Many thanks,
Anne
